There are countless genres in photography. The spectrum ranges from a decorous family portrait through to hard forensic shots, from aesthetic landscape photography through to modern fashion and lifestyle photography. The popular and often very controversial genre of nude photography lies somewhere in between, which again relates to countless categories, such as black and white photography, modern snapshots or glamorous glossy shots. However, they all have one thing in common, they are all nude photos, which we have compiled to create an attractive photo book. Varied, sharply photographed, naturally trashy.
A true anthology of indecent eroticism, and according to global players such as Amazon, Facebook, Google or Apple, unfortunately too many of them still exist. The parochialism and prudishness of these global players make it increasingly difficult to purchase candid illustrated books. The ‘guardians of taste’ are on the lookout and do not hesitate to remove anything they consider to be distasteful. Our basic democratic understanding is thereby being incrementally sacrificed to the global monotony of success, repression and, last but not least, commerce. The filtering of information, the levelling of taste, or the constant attempt to reverse the freedoms acquired in the nineteen sixties and seventies, are invoking restriction of our self-expression. Democracy is pre-occupied with itself and has since lost touch with digital channel developments. Online censorship and information monopolies do not seem to play a political role. Even classic nude paintings have a hard time at Apple or Facebook! Only the smallest global denominator is still allowed. Because of this neo-puritanical development, it is now again worthwhile creating a library of printed books. There is no such thing as data loss for nude books.
It is for this reason that we commenced with a series of anthologies that will be well suited in your library over the next century: Trash, art or enjoyment in its purest form. And finally the third volume from the thick collection edition as a supplement. Eight photographers, from professionals to amateurs, display more than 300 blatant photos on 320 pages. Names include, inter alia Dave Naz, T. Sands, Holly Randall, Chas Ray Krider, Tom Veller, Mikhail Paramonov and Mark Novak. Photographers from the US and Europe, present their photosets generously on a double page and transform the flipping through the pages of this book to an erotic event. Everything, of course, stark naked and always from the front and the back and especially anywhere in between! The result is a beautiful erotic art photo project, which uninhibitedly and uncensored displays the two most beautiful sides of women: the pussy and the butt.
“A photo is usually looked at – seldom looked into,” said Ansel Adams. In any case, this photo project lets you take a deeper look. And since we are in the midst of quoting, here’s one more: “A nude photo is good if the model can show it whilst sitting around the table drinking coffee on grandmother’s birthday and those present like what they see,” said the photographer Rinnhofer. Although I would definitely advise against it in this case!
A true collector’s item for enthusiasts of nude photography, a modern photo work of art – artfully wicked through to amateurishly trashy, in any event, free of puritanical moral conceptions!
